The cost of planning and implementing an event is what concerns a business the most. The event must remain within budget and deliver a return on investment for the business. Organizers and planners are likely to use more technology and automation than ever before. Meeting management tools are widely available to help event planners streamline tasks they need to perform to get an event planned.
Cvent is a leader in event management, with tools to help manage registration of attendees online, source and book venues, and create mobile event apps. Event planners can plan events, engage with attendees, and measure the impact of their events all from one place. The platform has something to help you out at every stage of the event. Organizations and planners alike can save a ton of time and money by utilizing platforms like Cvent to streamline processes.
It's important to remember that tools are not only tools, they're solutions too! Utlizing social media to communicate with your attendees is awesome, but adding automation to your social media plan can really create a tight knit community online. Automation leaves more time for real-time engagement with attendees.
Deciding what to automate and not automate is important because not all of your social media needs to be automated. For event planners, automating things like speaker content, webinars, event promotions, or blog posts are great because you know these things are unlikely to change. On the other hand, things that don't have a prescheduled start and end time, such as company news, should be communicated in real-time. If automating social media helps, then great! But remember, these tools are supposed to make life easier for you, so if they becomes too complicated to figure out or too time consuming to set up than don't use them!

Plan For Generating Traffic
I will use Linkedin, Google+, and Twitter to drive people to this post. For all three, I will say something short and to the point because I would like people to click on the blog post. I will say something like, "Want to save your clients time and money and make it easier for you to get the event planned? Check out this post on utilizing technology to streamline the event planning process!" By posting during the week, I will have a better chance of event professionals and potential employers seeing it because that is when they are on their computers. I would probably post sometime in the afternoon or evening because that is when most people have time to check out social media from their computers or devices. Most employers hangout on Linkedin and might be impressed by my knowledge of this topic and by my courage to post something I wrote on Linkedin.
